Bianca Denies Fani-Kayode's Claim

Bianca Ojukwu widow to the late Chukuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain has stated the claim by former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode that she was his girlfriend when she was a spinster as false.

Fani-Kayode had in his article, claimed to have met Bianca and had befriended her when she was Miss Bianca Onoh at the Cambridge College.

Bianca has stated that she had never met Fani-Kayode before, either privately or official not to talk of having an intimate relationship with him

Bianca, who spoke through her lawyers, Wall Street Attorneys, has, threatened to sue Fani-Kayode if, in the next seven days, he fails to retract his publication against her.

In the letter from her lawyers to Fani-Kayode, dated August 27, 2013 and signed by Mike Ugwuanyi, Esq, Mrs. Ojukwu demanded that the former minister writes an apology and retraction of the said libelous publication in The Sun and Thisday newspapers, as well as publish it in the online publication, where it emanated, in the next seven days or face litigation.

The letter written by Mrs. Ojukwu’s lawyers and obtained by The Sun read in part: “We have been briefed and our services retained by Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain to demand from you an unreserved apology and a retraction of a false and malicious statement, which you published online and also caused to be published in the Leadership Newspaper of August 16, 2013.

“In the said article entitled, ‘Neither a Tribalist nor a Hater,’ you recklessly alleged, as follows: ‘I was not a tribalist when I had a long standing and intimate relationship with Miss Bianca Onoh…’, a statement, which you know is untrue and unfounded, but only calculated to lower our client’s esteem and damage her national and international reputation.

“Our client has never met you, does not know you in person and has never had any official or private relationship with you how much more ‘a long-standing and intimate relationship.’

“Our client is therefore, outraged by your bizarre and scandalous allegation and the numerous mails and telephone calls she has received from friends, relations and admirers who are equally embarrassed and who seek to confirm the veracity or otherwise of your false and reckless publication.

“Your apparent lame and half-hearted attempt, as published in the Leadership Newspaper of 17th August 2013, to clarify your false and malicious allegation falls far short of a retraction and does not sufficiently address the damage to our client arising from the widespread dissemination of your false publication and is therefore unacceptable to our client.

“In the circumstances, we demand, on the instruction of our client that you submit to her a clear and unqualified apology and retraction published in The Sun and Thisday newspapers in addition to having the retraction published online.

“Take note that should you fail to tender the apology and publish a retraction of your false and malicious publication, seven days next after your receipt of this demand notice, our further instructions are to seek appropriate redress in court. And that shall be without further recourse to you. Be properly guided.

And This Is Fani-Kayode's Reply Through His Lawyer

This morning Cheif Femi Fani-Kayode woke up to find a letter that was published as an advertorial in Thisday Newspaper purportedly by Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu's lawyer threatening to sue him for mentioning her in his article and claiming that she has never methim before. She also said that he was being malicious. The matter has of course been reffered to Chief Fani-Kayode's lawyers who will now take it up.

Ordinarily he would have not have said a word about this matter because he sympathises with her for whatever she may have been going through. However now that she has put it in the public realm Chief Fani-Kayode is compelled to formally respond. To the assertion that he never knew her and that they were never friends he says this is false and he asks why would he lie? The public evidence is to the contrary. Chief Fani-Kayode would not want to say anything to embarrass her because that would be ungentlemanly.

He sympathises with her delicate situation and once again he expresses his regrets about the fact that his statement about her was misconstrued. We shall just leave it at that.

Maybe Clint Eastwood just isn't the marrying kind. The Dirty Harry actor, 83, has separated from second wife Dina Eastwood (nee Ruiz) after nearly 17 years of marriage, Dina confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.

(Eastwood's manager, when contacted about the split by Us, said only, "I know nothing about that.")

The former TV news reporter, 48, says that she and Eastwood remain close but have been living separately for some time. In fact, a source tells Us the two actually split more than a year ago, in June 2012. "Clint fell out of love with Dina a long time ago," the insider says, noting that the separation was "amicable."

Married since March 31, 1996, Dina and the Million Dollar Baby director have one daughter together, 16-year-old Morgan. Eastwood is also dad to seven other kids, though he has only been married once before. (He and first wife Maggie Johnson had a daughter, Alison; the rest of his kids are from other relationships.)

Morgan and Dina appeared together -- along with Eastwood's daughter Francesca, from his relationship with Titanic actress Frances Fisher -- on the E! reality series Mrs. Eastwood & Company. Usher Gives Ex-Wife Tameka Foster a Hug Following Court Ruling

Usher attempted to make peace with ex-wife Tameka Foster at end of the emergency child custody hearing on Friday, Aug. 9, walking over to the mother of his two sons, Usher V, 5, and Naviyd, 4, and giving her a hug. 

In photos from inside the courtroom, the singer is seen pulling her into him and giving her a hug, whispering something to her. She accepts the hug but seems to hold back, trying not to look at him. 

Indeed, it's been an emotional roller coaster for the couple, as their son Usher nearly died in a pool incident on Aug. 5. (According to TMZ, on Monday, the 5-year-old was swimming in the singer's pool with his Auna Rena Oden when he dove under water to retrieve a toy from the drain. His arm then got stuck in the drain, and neither his aunt nor a maid could free him. Two contractors who had been working in the house reportedly came out and they were able to get the child's arm out. He was then given CPR and rushed to the hospital, where he is expected to be OK.)

During the emergency child custody hearing where Foster was seeking temporary primary custody of the kids, the a celeb hairstylist alleged that the children were in a "dangerous environment" and broke down in tears when the 911 call from Monday was played.

According to  Us Weekly report of Aug. 9, after much debate, a judge ruled in favor of Raymond. (In 2012, The Voice coach was given primary custody of the kids following a bitter custody battle, with Foster receiving limited custodial rights.)

"What happened here was an awful accident, and I don't know based on the evidence I've heard, had any single person been at the poolside, that one person could have done better than Ms. Oden," the judge said on Aug. 9. "He also told Foster that her "standards for caregivers are very high."

"Most people who cared for us or our kids probably didn't' have all the qualifications that you required," the judge added to Foster. "I'm denying the motion. I would say, Mr. Raymond, in the future you would be well-advised to keep your former spouse informed about your whereabouts and who is taking care of the kids. That will be a feature perhaps in this case as it moves forward or the companion case as it moves forward."

Usher and Foster married in 2007 and divorced two years later.

Zach Orji Condemns Nollywood Female Stars Indecent Dressing

According to Gossip Nigeria.

A veteran Nollywood actor and former Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Mr. Zack Orji, have condemned the level of indecent dressing among actresses in the country. Mr. Orji, a pastor in the Power Life Assembly Ministry, Owerri, made the statement in Owerri on August 7, 2013, Wednesday.

He noted that movies which were originally meant to promote the people’s cultural heritage and discipline were being bastardized in the name of civilization.

“Most movies shown in recent times are capable of destroying the moral background of children as they have become the most popular movie audience.

“Film production must be properly checkmated before circulation because it is wrong for an actor or actress to expose his or her body to the world in the disguise of acting,” he said.

Mr. Orji said that some actresses were suspended during his regime as the chairman of the AGN and advised actors and actresses to lead lives worthy of emulation.

He said that in spite of ministerial work, he was still active in the industry but could only accept scripts that promote morality.

Oprah Winfrey Opens Up On Paula Deen's N-Word Controversy

According to the Us Magazine, Oprah Winfrey befriended Paula Deen when she interviewed the butter-loving cook for an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter in March 2012. The talk show host even spent the night at Deen's Georgia home, where the women discussed everything from Deen's financial insecurities to her diabetes diagnosis.

More than a year later, in a videotaped deposition, Deen admitted to once using the N-word in the past. The 66-year-old Southerner was subsequently fired by the Food Network and lost multiple endorsement deals. Until recently, Winfrey had remained silent on her friend's latest controversy.

"In the very first days I tried to reach her and then I decided to stay out of it as I saw it blowing up," Winfrey, 59, tells Entertainment Tonight. "In time she will be fine. For me, it all just felt kind of sad."

Winfrey believes people need to let the "dust settle" before they can have a "real conversation" about racism in today's world. While the TV titan hasn't been subjected to racial epithets in years, she has experienced racism in the workplace.

"Nobody in their right mind is going to call me the N-word. You know, you see those fools on Twitter sometime say ridiculous things. But nobody in their right mind is going to do that to my face, because true racism is being able to have power over somebody else," Winfrey explains. "So that doesn't happen to me that way."

The Butler star continues, "It shows up for me if I'm in a boardroom or situations where I'm the only woman or I'm the only African American person within a hundred mile radius. I can see in the energy of the people there, they don't sense that I should be holding one of those seats. I can sense that. But I can never tell, 'Is it racism? Is it sexism?'"

When asked to comment about Deen during an interview with Extra, Winfrey laughed but declined to say anything more about the disgraced TV personality. "Oh my god! I don't have anything to do with Paula Deen," she insisted. "She is not the first white lady to use the N-word! Good lord!"

Producers Bombard Mercy Johnson With Movie Scripts

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson is the new Nollywood sweetheart – she’s always been the sweetheart anyway – but this time all the movie producers and marketers really really and really want her featured in their movies!

After delivering her first child in the US, reports claim that she has gotten no less than 20 scripts in the last one month from movie marketers and producers in Nigeria and Ghana – yes Ghana too.

Already, since her return to Nollywood, she’s featured in about three productions, including the on-going Tchidi Chikere produced comedy, ‘Dumebi Goes to School’, a sequel to the hilarious ‘Dumebi The Dirty Girl’.‘MJ is fully back. In the last one month, 

she has been bombarded with several scripts from different marketers and producers who want to get her on their movies. She hasn’t decided the ones she will do and the ones she won’t do yet. It is as if they were all waiting for her return,’ a Nollywood source disclosed…

MeanWhile,Actress Tonto Dikeh’s acting may be going south following threats from some movie producers and director to relegate her to the background as a result of what they described as her rude conduct recently at a location in Asaba.

“That little brat, apart from her addictions to marijuana, doesn't give a damn about whose ox is gored, she abuses, throw tantrums and fights on set at any slightest provocation and we must make sure she’s humiliated.

“She seems to have gathered too much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a ‘waka pass’ role in movies. We’ll teach her a lesson.”

According to sources, Tonto Dikeh who was playing a lead role in a movie at a location in Asaba, provoked the anger of a top movie director by her unbecoming display on set.

The director hasn't stopped telling everyone his nasty experience at the hands of the controversial actress.

According to the director who craved anonymity: “Tonto Dikeh is such a rot and lacks every bit of home training, apologies to her parents. I tried to control myself in order not to disrupt the set, but I got upset over the kind of insults Tonto heaped on the makeup artist on the set; a woman old enough to be her mother.

“She liberally used words like, ‘Are you stupid, don’t you know what you are supposed to do? Must I remind you before you’ll know you are supposed to make me up?’ on the woman who was at the verge of throwing back some punch lines at her.”

Consequently, a group of directors and producers have decided not to feature the actress who currently is not even in good terms with many actress, due to her recent outburst on the social media.

Kim Kardashian Resurfaces After Baby, on Kris Jenner's Show

According to the Us Magazine, Kim Kardashian made her first public appearance on Her Mum's show. 

Welcome back, Kim Kardashian! Seven weeks after giving birth to daughter North West, the reality star and first-time mom, 32, came out of hiding briefly to appear in a short, surprise video message on Kris, mom Kris Jenner's recently launched talk show. Looking pretty and noticeably thinner, the star said, "Hey mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I’m sorry I couldn't be there in person, but I'm just loving life a little bit too much at home right now."

Dressed in white, wearing her brunette hair straight, she continued to praise her mom's new venture: "But I watch you every single day and you are so amazing. You really are born to do this. I just want to say I love you and have an amazing show."

"You did make me cry... Thank you Kimmy . . . That made me cry... Thank you Kimmy, thank you Sean." Combs had tricked an unsuspecting Jenner by setting up Kardashian's clip as a preview of his new network, Revolt.

Earlier during the show, Jenner said that her second-eldest daughter was "eating really well and working out and nursing" and "trying to get back to a happy place."

Funke Akindele's Ex Husband Revealed He Was Building A House For Her Before She Left

Funke Akindele's estranged husband in an interview with Encomium magazine, claimed he was actually building a house for his wife before she ended the marriage, It's a one-storey building (uncompleted) located off Adeniji Jones in Ikeja adding that the rejection of the building was one of he reasons for their split.

Kate Hudson on Royal Baby

According to the Us Magazine, Kate Hudson has been living in London with fiance (and Brit) Matt Bellamy, their two-year-old son Bingham, and Ryder, her 9-year-old son with ex Chris Robinson -- and while the Oscar-nominated actress, 34, is slightly familiar with the rigors of a public pregnancy, nothing compares to the birth of Kate Middleton's royal baby Prince George.

"It was insane, actually," the Reluctant Fundamentalist star told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Wednesday of royal baby fever in the British capital. "You can't help but follow it since it's on every news channel like that's all you saw ...that was the longest labor on news. It literally was full coverage."

The Hollywood-raised star (Goldie Hawn is her mom, and Kurt Russell is her de-facto stepfather) hasn't met the Duchess of Cambridge or her husband Prince William -- but there's an unexpected connection! 

"Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed at our house in Colorado when they were kids.," 

Hudson explained. "I remember we were all in LA and they were staying with their mom [Princess Diana] at the time…and we get this phone call at the house."

She continued of the royal-encounter-by-phone: "And the phone rang, my dad [Kurt Russell] answers it, gets on the phone…sure enough, I think it was Prince William calling my dad to ask if he could use the ATVs, the four wheeler things." 

After Russell, now 62, acquiesced, "[he] said, 'now that's a really well raised boy.' That was pretty cool...that's as close as I got!"

Hudson can also perhaps relate to the new mom Middleton, 31: Many royal watchers had expected the Duchess to give birth to a girl when the arrival was, in fact, a boy. The star had a similar experience while pregnant with Bingham over two years ago.

"There was not a question in my mind that it was a girl... because it was completely different, totally different pregnancy -- I carried different, he felt different [than Ryder], it was just a girl," she said. "I felt like this was a she." Muse frontman Bellamy, 35 -- and older brother Ryder -- both knew otherwise. 

"He knew…the whole time, Ryder knew the whole time it was a boy, and I just ignored them."
